A Day To Remember

This was a project that wasn’t required for school or any classes that I was currently taking. My dad wanted to give my mom a special present for their silver anniversary (25 years of marriage) and he asked me to draw a photo of him and my mom on their wedding day. This was one of a couple of photos he sent me. My main struggle with this piece was creating more contrast with the darker shadows and the lighter highlights. Overall, I am very proud of this piece considering that I did it in the middle of the school year while I had other projects going on.
